Single Mine Origin
All Deakin & Francis’ precious metals are responsibly sourced using Single Mine Origin (SMO) which is gold that has been produced by a legitimate mining operation which holds no ties to conflict, where miners are paid a just wage under secure employment. All of our 9ct and 18ct gold Signet Rings use SMO. Guaranteeing that the communities living locally to the gold source are benefitting from sustainability initiatives including programmes centred on education, healthcare, safe drinking water and agricultural prosperity to support a wide number of people. We offer a range of Single Mine Origin gold and silver signet rings, ideal for any taste.
Recycled Silver
Sourcing eco-friendly alternatives, all Deakin & Francis silver products are produced from recycled scrap silver from Birmingham’s jewellery industry.

Deakin & Francis only participates with natural mined diamonds, and only work with sight holders who guarantee this. We ensure that our diamonds are regulated and traded in countries that are confirmed to be free of conflict and ethical.
